Old West Revisited
    Eastern Utah Points Of Interest

      And That Era
I have a passion for the Old West.
Although this page isn't quite as rounded out as I'd like it to be
I hope to be adding more photos and
Cowboy Way facts in the near future.

One of my favorite Old West Figures was Doc Holliday.
He has been protrayed by actors in several movies of our era. In my readings and Movie goings', He seems to be quite a charactor.

He joined up with the Earp Brother's, and was part of the shootout at the OK corral with the Clanton's-(Pictured Above).

      Pictured Above is: The Peacemakers
"Dodge City [Kans.] Peace Commissioners. L to R:
Chas. Bassett, W. H. Harris, Wyatt Earp, Luke Short, L. McLean,
Bat Masterson, Neal Brown." By Camillus S. Fly, ca. 1890.
      Wyatt Earp on Right-

Doc died in a Sanitarium of TB,
      in Colorado,
and is buried in the (Old Hill Cemetery)Glenwood Cemetery, CO.

      Other pictured historic events
from this era in Colorado AND Utah are:

DeBeque-Members of the Denver Motor Club
      and Chamber of Commerce test-
-driving the Denver to Salt Lake
Exposition route near De Beque, Colo.
      By A. L. Westgard, October 1912.

      Temple Quarry-Quarrying granite
      for the Mormon Temple-
      Utah Territory.
      The ground is strewn with
boulders and detached masses of granite,
      which have fallen from the
      walls of Cottonwood Canyon.
      The quarrying consists of
      splitting up the blocks. 1872.
